HETAS Training Courses
HETAS are the leading training provider for solid fuel, wood and biomass offering comprehensive courses specifically designed for installers, chimney sweeps, retailers, specifiers, Local Authorities, Building Control officers and those involved in the wood fuel supply chain. HETAS training courses can be used towards registration on the range of schemes available with HETAS, including Competent Persons registration (CPS), Microgeneration Certification (MCS), Approved Retailer and Approved Chimney Sweeps.
HETAS training courses now have to be taken at one of the HETAS approved training centres of which the Sure Fire Training Centre was the first. The courses will be for a maximum of 12 delegates to ensure each delegate has the opportunity to ask questions and gain the most out of each course while enabling a wide range of delegate experience and knowledge to be present on each HETAS training course.
This course is aimed at anyone who is wishing to have a change in their career path. The course gives a general overview of the solid fuel industry.
This course is aimed at retail outlet staff employed within the solid fuel industry who wishes to be a HETAS approved retailer.
This five day course is available for anyone who meets the pre-requisite requirements this would allow the fitting of dry appliances.
The course covers all changes to the Building Regulations, Health and Safety, BS EN Standards legislation and technical standards.
Suitable for plumbing and heating installers who have already completed the H003, H003DS or H005DE course
Full training on the correct installation of stainless steel twin wall insulated rigid flue systems into residential properties
This is the Biomass course that includes all 5 days and will form a NVQ level 2 qualification.
The course covers the differences between appliances, installation such as chimney requirements, service and maintenance
